I’m having issues. I can’t make a decision.
I want a new camera. Last time I didn’t research enough and ended up with a super expensive Olympus ILC (interchangable lens camera) that just isn’t cutting it. Well, it is, for certain pictures. But if I ever want to take a picture inside — um, all the time — my camera doesn’t hold up its end of the bargain.
I’m also one of those strange people that thinks inanimate objects have feelings, so I feel really bad saying these things about my Olympus. It was also a graduation present from my mom, so I’m sure she’s not thrilled with the idea that I want a new camera already.
I love my Olympus, I do. Really! I just can’t handle editing every single photo I take anymore. There’s always a yellow tint to my pictures because it doesn’t do well in low lighting. I’m so over it. By no means do I want to get rid of it, I just think I’ll keep it for outside picture-taking purposes. Yes, that’s what I’ll do! I spent months reserching the camera I wanted the first time around and then set my mind on the Olympus. But considering how unhappy I am with it, I feel like I didn’t research enough. Now I have a complex.
I’ve known I wanted a Nikon FOREVER. Why I didn’t get one when I had the chance is beyond me. Dumb. But I can’t change the past. So instead I will dwell on doing research about which new camera to get in fear of making a wrong decision again. (Here’s my problem: I become attached to things.)
I’ve narrowed it down to two choices. This is good news.
If any of you know anything about photography and/or Nikon DSLRs, please let me know your opinion.
My two “favorites” are the D3200 and the D5100. If you can help me out, I’d really appreciate it.
I’m also linking up today with Samantha at http://www.hooahandhiccups.com/ for Wildcard Wednesday!
