I know, I know. Five isn’t actually that many. But my husband and I have packed a TON into those five years. Not to mention in June we celebrate a decade of togetherness. AND I’ve known him since I was born, so there’s that.
Doesn’t that make it seem like much longer?
I have so many life updates to write. We’ve done so much in five years. This is just going to be a picture post because it would take forever to catch you all up on everything.
There are plenty of accomplishments, travels, etc, that I am not posting in here. And let me just put it out there that I am fully aware I owe the world my birth story. Yikes.
Grab a drink, because here’s a trip down memory lane.
April 25, 2015. We got married. It rained.
December 22, 2015. We closed on our house! That is also a whole post on its own. It got broken into before we moved in (by the bank), we had to threaten to sue someone before we could get any information. My ONE recommendation on house buying: DO NOT CLOSE NEAR A HOLIDAY. BANKS ARE CLOSED AND THEY WON’T BE NOTIFIED THAT SOMEONE BOUGHT A HOUSE! Also, don’t buy your house from a**holes if you can help it. We didn’t find out that they foreclosed because it was like…DAYS before official foreclosure when we went to closing. Again, I’ll come back to this. Ugh.
These are just some cute pictures of us together in 2016 & 2017. The beach picture is from our anniversary trip to Salisbury. WHY would a couple go to Salisbury, Maryland for their anniversary, you ask? Well. Pretty much entirely for DiPietro’s Pizza. I’m not even kidding.
Between these groups of pictures there was so much travel. We went to Maui, Frankfurt, and Dubai to name a few places.
I took my husband to Florence for his 30th birthday in December 2017. It snowed a bit in Tuscany that morning and we had wine for breakfast. (A win in my book!) Funny story about how my doctor accidentally gave away his surprise trip, too. More on that to come.
I did a few plays and musicals, but no pictures of those for now. I stayed VERY busy.
THEN… We had a baby! She was born two weeks before our anniversary last year.
I look absolutely terrible in that picture and it’s slightly horrifying to post it on the internet, but… whatever. I had A TIME in the hospital immediately after giving birth. Ended up with a blood transfusion. Yes, yes. I will write it all out eventually.
So this is a very brief synopsis of the past five years. Dang. What could even be next? I’m a little afraid of the next five!
