Current Makeup Routine Products

I love makeup. Like, maybe too much. But I'm not a total makeup snob, so that's probably good. I have a good mix of expensive makeup and drug store brands -- it all just depends on what works and what fad I've fallen for recently. Today I want to show you all what I've been totally obsessed with lately.

Lately I've been trying to go for a less made-up look. (Isn't it funny that the expensive makeup is the one that makes you look like you're not wearing any?)

Ulta Lip Crayon: This is the most amazing $4 lip stuff ever. I especially love this color -- it's a deep red. I've been trying to go for less eye makeup, so the darker lip really makes everything pop. Plus, if I don't have color on my lips I look like a ghost. I generally stay away from lip stick or anything that has to be reapplied a million times (except chapstick) or gets clumpy, so I go for stains and stuff like that. This lip crayon is awesome, and for $4, you can't beat it. I also love Ulta's Double Duty lip stain and balm, but I'll save that for another post.

Bare Minerals Correcting Concealer: It's a little pricey at $20, but it's worth the splurge. It lasts forever, so it doesn't really feel like you're spending so much. I use Light 2, which has a yellow tint, because my skin has red undertones (dang Irish skin and freckles). I don't use a brush to apply this; I just use my finger. Works like a charm.

Urban Decay Naked Basics: I know. I really didn't want to fall for it, but I did. I don't even regret it. It looks so natural, and I love that it's matte. Shimmery eyeshadow gets old after a while.

Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner: I actually bought this on accident, but it's been a great addition to my routine. I use the Cocoa color and it's so light, but still adds a little something to make my eyes stand out. And with the matte eyeshadow it just looks so natural. It's the kind that you twist, but it also comes with a pop-out sharpener for when you just need that pointy line. No complaints here!

Baby Lips Chap Stick: The cherry and grape are my favorites because they have such great color. The purple looks a little scary at first, but it's pretty sheer. This stuff stays on forever (but of course I reapply every 5 minutes just because), and the tube lasts for months! Between this stuff and eos, I don't think I'll ever need another brand of chap stick. I also like to apply this underneath the Ulta lip crayon so it glides on smoother and doesn't clump, and then again on top to add shine.

And I also should mention that I never leave the house without putting on Great Lash mascara, but I professed for my love for that already

I love hearing about what everyone's using, so feel free to share. Or if you have any recommendations I'll always take those! A girl can never have too much makeup!

**This is not a sponsored post. These companies do not know I'm writing this post. All of these opinions are my own and I just really love these products.

I can't get enough babylips! Have you tried the lip rescue kind? It works really well!
