Things I Can't Live Without {Beauty Edition}

Happy Friday!! Today is the most exciting day EVER because in a few short hours I will be driving myself to Delaware to visit my best friiiieeeend!

Anywho, on with the point of this post. Today I'm going to share with you the five most important things I use in my beauty routine. I own a lot of makeup and skincare stuff, but these are the ones I use all the time.

1. Paul Mitchell Shine Serum - I never realized how much this could help my hair until I actually started using it. I have naturally straight hair, but sometimes it gets a little poofy and I always have fly-aways. This stuff is amazing! It keeps my hair smooth and calms the frizz and fly-aways like no other. I put it in my damp hair after a shower and it works whether I blow dry my hair or let it air dry. I will probably never stop using this (unless, of course, it stops working). This serum is a little expensive, but I bought one bottle almost two years ago and I'm still using it. Well worth it.

2. Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Face Wash - I'm one of those people who has tried everything to clear up my face. I've tried Proactiv, just about every store brand there is, and I never came across anything I loved or that didn't make my face feel itchy, dry, or peel-y. This was recommended to me by a friend, so I tried it. I figured if it didn't work I was only out about $7, so it couldn't hurt. I LOVE IT. It has a cooling sensation and it doesn't leave my face dry or oily. Perfection. This is the face wash I use in the morning when I wake up. Then I moisturize and I'm good to go. (It works so well that I've actually stopped wearing foundation lately.) There is a whole line of this brand, but I only this product.

3. Lush Ultrabland - This is just a little bit pricey, but it's all natural (you know, because it's made by Lush). This is my night-time face wash. It takes ALL of my makeup off. I follow it up with a moisturizer and it never leaves a residue on my skin. (A lot of people have that complaint with this stuff, but it hasn't happened to me.) It also lasts forever because you don't have to use much. Just put some on your hands and slather it all over your face then wash off with a washcloth.

4. Dr. Pepper Bonne Bell in chap stick form - I know, I know; I'm a child. I don't even care. I love this stuff. I hate not having something on my lips at all times, and this just gives the perfect color and keeps my lips soft. No trying involved.

5. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara - Is there even an explanation needed? It just works. I like to try new mascara every time I run out, but I don't think I'll be switching it up anytime soon. But I don't use the waterproof one because it makes me hate my life.

And there you have it. Those are the beauty products I absolutely love and would be lost without.

Um, it's also #backthatazzup Friday, so please enjoy the musical stylings of:

I love the Dr Pepper chap stick. Helps me get my Pepper fix when I can't drink it, haha.

I am also a huge believer in Maybelline mascara. It just works perfectly, I have never found another one that does.

Seeing this reminds that I have some serum stuff for my hair. 2 actually and I just have to find them. Thanks for the reminder.
