I Had Shenanigans!

1. Smoothie breakfast on Friday. Strawberries, blueberries, oatmeal, orange juice. Simple. (I also usually put ground flaxseed in my smoothies, but I didn't have any that day.)
2. This is only a fraction of the clothes I bought this weekend. I finally did some much-needed Spring shopping and replaced my jean shorts! This is big news, people!
3. I reorganized my whole closet and my dresser on Friday. I also cleaned our bedroom and it no longer looks like this. It took forever, but I feel so accomplished. I also can locate my clothes now. I'll have to post an after picture soon.
4. Homemade pizza. The best. (I have a secret recipe and it is soooo good.)

*If you follow me on Instagram (@FallLikeTimber) these are repeats. Sorry.

On Saturday, my family and I went to the Celtic Festival. E met us later and missed the taking of this picture. I hadn't been in six years! The last time I went I had my best friend with me, and we took funny pictures at this stop sign. Naturally, when I saw it, I had to re-create one of the pictures. (I can't locate the original, but if I find it I'll put it up.) What would a Celtic Festival be without bagpipes? (Quiet is the answer to that.) There was a bagpipe competition going on all day. They all played the same song. For the same length of time. All day. I had nightmares about bagpipes.

Saturday night we all ended up back at my parents' house and watched Lincoln. I almost made it all the way to the end. I fell asleep when there were about 45 minutes left. I just couldn't do it. PS - Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in it and I'm a little disappointed by that. I can't take him seriously, which meant I couldn't take the movie seriously. But Daniel Day-Lewis is THE MAN. (What's with all the hyphenated names, dudes?)

Sunday I went to E's parents' house for a birthday party. It was tons of fun and I didn't take any pictures. This last picture is of me at about 10:30 last night trying not to fall asleep while we worked out plans for E's cousin's wedding in Florida next month. It took three whole hours, but we finally coordinated flights, hotels, and a rental car. I never want to think about it again. Also, my feet were freezing so E made me wear his shoes. Hence the picture.

There you have it. Kind of short and sweet. It was a fun and busy weekend, and I think my days of having free time are over until June. But this is good news for all of you -- more weekend updates with actual substance!

I'm out of here. Metaphoriacally, though, because my whole leg is asleep and I don't think I could physically get out of here if I wanted to.

And why can you not take Joseph Gordon-Levitt seriously? :)

Ohhh my goodness, thank you for saying that. I can't take Joseph Gordon-Levitt seriously either! I still think of him as the kid from Third Rock from the Sun. Every time I see him in movies trying to be all smooth or whatever, I'm like, ewwww who ARE you??? hahaha. :)

Sounds like a pretty great weekend though. Although, this coming Saturday just might top it. Just sayin. ;)
