When "To Do" Becomes "To Done"

Random though/question:

I make lists every day. Sometimes they are important and sometime's they're just...there. When I make a list of things I actually want to do I find they don't get done. Especially when they involve me doing some type of work around the house. But don't get me wrong... It's not that I don't get anything done -- I just only ever accomplish one or two things on my list of...a lot.

Here's my theory (which is shared by my boyfriend): I don't get anything done because when I go home at the end of the day I just want to CHILL OUT. Also, I'm never home. If I'm in my house it's probably because I'm sleeping or changing my clothes and it's likely that I'm on my way out again. So I'm thinking that because I spend so little time being a vegetable whenever I am able to vegetate I take advantage. Basically what I'm saying here is that I enjoy the occasional laziness.

Doesn't everybody?

Am I the only one who has this problem of making lists and not completing them?

Oh, one last idea. It's possible that I don't want to complete these tasks because then I would have to cross them off the list. I don't like physically crossing things off my lists because I don't like messes. My OCD tendencies conflict with each other. Oh well. What can you do? ...I guess I'll make a list of ways to fix this.
